What a hidden Gem and amazing place! Wati and Laurence are really the best hosts you could wish for. They are very welcoming and helped me with anything I needed. The hotel is very authentic and has a personal atmosphere, my room was spacious, modern, clean and looked just like in the pictures. The beach & one of the local surpsots right in front of the hotel are priceless. I hope to come back soon, thank you Wati & Laurence for providing such lovely home during my time in Sumatra!!!

If you get the opportunity to stay at Kambuna with Wati, her family and team, do it!! I can highly recommend Kambuna! Really nice rooms, a beautiful property, right in front of a bunch of great waves and the vibe there is amazing. A friendly, caring, chill and fun environment. We were taken care of extremely well for the five weeks we were there. Congratulations Wati, you run an amazing business with exceptional service and facilities! Thanks for everything.

Wati & Lawrence have created a welcoming and inclusive space with beautiful surrounds and the best sunsets from the front of the property. They were incredibly helpful with all my requests, whether that be for different food options, local recommendations, or anything else. They helped us organise a boat trip, scooters, massages, car trips and the rest. I loved the BBQ night and also all the fresh seafood available at request. Thank you so much Wati & Lawrence for making me feel so at home

Very nice place for a private stay at Krui beach. An ample garden, a private kitchen and terrace make you feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and spacious and the beds are fine. The air-conditioning works well. Staff on the premises are kind and helpful and make you feel secure. There is good snorkeling right outside during calm days. During the season there is a famous wave for surfers 75 meters out. Buy your fish from the fishermen up and down the beach and enjoy a maritime bbq.
