We had a great long weekend stay. The cottage was just as described- adorable, very cozy, and clean. We lucked out with nice weather and beautiful fall colors surrounding the lake.

My sisters and i had the best time we could with the uncontrollable weather. Next year we will book eariler in the year. The lake was as beautiful as the cabin. There was a house being built next door which was disappointing to see but thats not the hosts fault. All in all we had a great time and will put this on the list to rent again!

We loved this property. The house had everything we needed (and more) and outside was even better…loved the sandy beach and fire pit. We used the canoe to go out to the island which was fun. Craig was super responsive, very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

We had a great stay in August. The location is great - just a minute from town but facing a very quiet part of the lake and a quick drive from the Twin Cities. Our kids swam, fished and canoed from the shore right behind the house, and we went for a walk through the county park just down the road. The house was clean, well-stocked and the central air worked really well - it was over 90 while we were there and we felt comfortable the whole time. We had all the info we needed from Craig days in advance of arriving and had zero issues while we were there. We will be back another time!

Fremont Lake Cottage was a great stay for our family. The beach and additional water features (paddle board, float mat, kayaks, and canoe) were a hit with our 4 kids. Craig was helpful and left us a pack’n’ play and high chair for our toddler and was always responsive. The neighbors were so kind and gave my husband and son a ride on their golf cart back to the house when my son had an accident at the nearby playground. The portable ice maker was also an added bonus! Overall, our family enjoyed a few peaceful days on the lake with amazing views!
