Very comfortable carriage house space for two people, nestled in the woods just minutes from Southwest Harbor and Acadia trails! Deborah is an excellent host, and we had everything we needed for a perfect stay! We used the kitchen to cook several evenings and greatly appreciated the use of their washer/dryer unit. This is a lovely option on the quietside, would stay again for sure!

This is the second time I had stayed with Deb, she is a very nice host and look forward to again next year. The carriage house is beautiful and is in a nice quiet peaceful location tuck away in the woods. It is close to town and there is a small grocery store close by and some nice restaurants as well. There is also a trail head a short distance down the road, walkable,for Acadia National Park, it’s a great loop to hike. While I was there we had the remnants of a tropical storm come through one night with a lot of rain and strong winds. Deb sent me a head up message about it in case the power went out, which it did sometime over night, but by the time I woke she had the carriage house up and running by generator. I didn’t even realize it until I went outside and heard and saw it running. Lol Thanks again for another great stay!!

Adorable, clean, well appointed cottage with tranquil surroundings. We especially enjoyed the deck. Close to local hikes, grocery store and a golf course! Home away from home! Thanks Deborah!

The Carriage House was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying in Southwest Harbor on this, one of many trips to MDI. It is called the quiet side of the island. Very convenient to everything you want to do and see and quiet at the end of the day. Deborah was lovely. She was very friendly and responsive and had some great suggestions for dining. We would absolutely stay here again!

Location. Location. Location. This carriage house in the woods in Southwest Harbor is in a perfect location. It is tucked in the woods, with easy access to the Cranberry Isles Ferry, Acadia, and a host of small, almost secret hikes. We saw deer, wild turkey, and even a fox and we found good walking within steps from the door. The space is larger. Some items could use a refresh and we certainly would have liked more comfortable chairs for dining and working.
