This host was so kind to us! She went above and beyond to let us stay in a house with a bedroom and full bathroom on the ground floor so that my 92-year-old mother would not need to climb steps. She came over for a few minutes on our first evening to check that everything worked for us. I am so grateful! The house is large with 4 bedrooms, two living rooms and a big kitchen dining area. The kitchen is well supplied with all the tools and pans necessary to make a good meal. The neighborhood is quiet and the beds are very comfortable so we slept well here. The location is a reasonable walk from the beachfront where the Tate Modern is located. Shops and restaurants are also within reach. My family loved staying here! Highly recommend!
Was a little more than we'd normally pay, however, it was New Year, the location was amazing and the overall quality and space was excellent. Elizabeth was the perfect host and looked after us very well. I'm sure we'll be back to stay, possibly in the warmer months! Thanks again, we really felt at home. Bryan & Paula
What a lovely location and a superb property. The views are spectacular and the house has everything you could wish for. A wonderful stay and Elizabeth made us feel very welcome.

What a fabulous house and location with amazing views of the sea and beach. Elizabeth was a great host who communicated well, and the welcome pack of milk and tea was very much appreciated after a long journey. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfortable and shower pressure excellent. The hot tub was an extra bonus and there's lots of seating areas inside and out. Everything in the house was high end. There's a handy Spar shop a 5 minute walk up the road. St Ives was a 15 minute walk or a taxi was £5-6. Lots of lovely independent shops and restaurants. I recommend the Porthminster Beach Cafe in Carbis Bay for an exceptional meal, the Scoff Troff for brunch, Talay Thai(we had a takeaway on the first night as we were too tired to go out) & Seven for amazing cocktails and Cintra for tapas style small plates in St Ives harbour. I recommend you stay here if your a group of adults or 2 families holidaying together. We will be back!!

Local lady who lived in London for 15 years but returned back to beautiful St Ives 15 years ago. Have let my own holiday flats and houses for many years, all of which are in St Ives. Many of my guests are regulars who return year after year. I look forward to meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay in St Ives and Cornwall.
