Elfe's place has a sense of family and history which made us feel at home instantly. Loved the antiques. The dining table on the enclosed porch worked perfectly for the 7 of us. Beds were comfortable. The room over the boat house was a bit more modern and very nice. Loved the fire pit right on the water. The weather was nice, and we had a fire every night. Lastly, the place was 10 minutes from Penn Yan and any conveniences you might need. Thanks, Elfe!

First time back to Penn Yan and Keuka Lake in a few years. Wife grew up on the Lake so this revived many beautiful memories of growing up there. The lake and surrounding area are beautiful and the cottage gives you the feel of cottage living as it should be. Many of the comforts of home, but rustic enough that it felt like you were "roughing it". Elfe had the cottage beautifully decorated with many family pictures, games, books, visitor info, kitchen amenities, sports gear, fishing equipment, kayaks etc. which made the stay that much more enjoyable. The boat house bedroom made for an enjoyable stay for family who came in for a couple nights. Truly a wonderful and memorable week and we look forward to returning again next year.

We truly enjoyed our time in this little cottage on the lake. The sunsets over the lake were amazing, it was all just so peaceful and calm. The perfect getaway from our normal busy lives. The cottage itself made me reminiscent of my own grandmothers homes from my childhood.

Beautiful setting with something for all ages of our family. Badminton, cards & board games, fishing, paddling, wifi, full kitchen, shady areas all day, the list goes on and on of all the great reasons to book this stay.

This house is a gem with large enough main spaces to be comfortable for a family (we had 8), but also separate smaller spaces that allow private quiet time as well! We had a great week and would definitely recommend it for a family getaway!
