From Cort Reial it is ideal to explore Girona since it is only a 3 min walk from Santa Marie’s Cathedral and the Jewish quarter. It is right in the middle of the historic centre, just behind La Rambla and 2 min from the Onyar Houses. The Old Centre is known to have a large variety of great restaurants and small boutiques. It is highly recommendable for those who want to be in a comfortable, unique place and explore this town just walking from your apartment.

Girona has it’s own airport just a 20 min taxi drive away (around 30 €) or you can go by bus for around 3 € and that will take you about 30 min. Busses will stop at the train station which is a 10 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the hart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dali museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options, the historic quarter, (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access, so you can’t park on the street. However, you can stop and park in front of the apartment for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage. But after that you have to park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartments. There is a paid parking garage available near the apartment which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. It’s a 4 min walk. They offer a multi-day ticket that should be useful and economic. If you are interested we could get it for you and give it to you at arrival. There are also free parking at parking la Copa: (10 min walking) but we strongly recommend you the first option at Parking Saba Santa Caterina.
