We had a great a stay in Ante's place. The pool was wonderful and big enough for kids to swim in. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. It was very hot and humid when we stayed and the AC worked well. The view from terrace is amazing. The village is quite remote, but has a shop about 10 minutes walk away as well as a (particularly) good pizzeria. There are a few nice walks out the house towards the sea where there are a some nice coves for swimming (but no beach).

Hi, We really enjoyed our stay at „HouseMouse“. We were travelling as a family, two adults and two kids (8&11). At the villa you have an awesome view and a nice view. The owners live behind the house which never was a problem for us, but be aware that you dont have 100% privacy. Furthermore you have to like cats which are around like everywhere in Croatia and their dog, who is really kind is also on the estate. The house is well equipped, good showers, nice kitchen and we slept really well, even if can hear the main road but on Mljet is not a lot of traffic. The house is located right at the middle of the island so nothing is more far away than 30 minutes. Dont miss the lakes at the national park and the odysseus cave! Groceries you should buy in parts on the main land, the supermarkets on the island are kind of disappointing. We hope to be back one day, Mljet is really beautiful and not crowded like many other places in Croatia. Velinka was a great host, Thank you for everything!

Prachtige plek! Mooi uitzicht over de natuur. Het zwembad was heerlijk lekker genoten met de kinderen. Absoluut een aanrader. En een zeer vriendelijke host

House Mouse is a beautiful and well loved and well cared for holiday home. It’s our second time here in 2023 and last stayed in 2017 and the house mouse is even better. A great private and quiet place to explore the rest of beautiful mljet. And there is the most excellent bar 10min walk which offers pizzas better than those we had in Dubrovnik. Velinka is an amazing host …she has been on hand to help on both our stays ( part of the reason why we wanted to come back). Thank you Velinka and I hope many more find your mljet gem 💎 Plus pool and air con was a life save in a Mediterranean heatwave!
