We had a lovely stay in Mona's beautiful house. The location is spectacular- the views from the house across the bay are stunning. The house is spacious, bright, and very well equipped with everything you could need for a fantastic holiday.

This house was perfect, like a home from home. If you get a chance to stay here, don't hesitate as it is truly breathtaking. The views of Dunmanus Bay were incredible and you won't want to leave. The house was so comfortable and so many little touches inside. Mona and John were very friendly and helpful and welcomed us on arrival. Only 10 mins to Schull, 20 mins to Barleycove beach, mizen head and 30 mins to Bantry. It was so central to visit the many tourist sites in west Cork. Nearest town is Schull, which has many restaurants, supermarket and lovely shops. Access to small cove near house for swims and the mature garden is beautiful to relax in or perfect for kids playing. Morning coffee on the stone bench overlooking the bay and the peninsula is just one of many highlights. Highly recommend this gem and we can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful week at Mona’s place. House is very well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children. The garden and patio were wonderful to enjoy when the weather behaved and have a lovely view over the bay. Location was perfect and very accessible to everywhere we wanted to go (10 ish minutes drive to schull, 20ish minutes to Barleycove). Mona and John were very welcoming hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mona’s house. It is perfectly located to visit Schull, Barleycove and ballyrisode. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed lighting the stove in the evenings and Mona kindly left firewood and firelogs. Our girls loved playing with all the toys and books and exploring the garden. The garden is secure for dogs and there are nearby beaches to go for walks. Overall a lovely stay!

We had a prefect 14 day stay at Mona’s house. It perfectly located as starting point to explore West Cork, not to mention the stunning views from the place. Mona is a perfect host. We didn’t miss a thing and checking and communication with her was easy and very friendly. Mona offered a lot of support but in fact it wasn’t needed a lot as everything you may need is there and easy to find. She even has set up a kind of Info desk with loads of info material of local attractions and activities you may want to see or do. The house is spacious , has four full equipped bedrooms with really good beds. Would highly recommend the house for families who are looking for a quiet but still exciting place to explore the beauty of West Cork.
