Villa 'Mediteranea' is a traditional Dalmatian stone house (90 m2) with a swimming pool (30 m2), a swimming pool terrace (150 m2) and an outdoor kitchen (15 m2), surrounded by olive trees and an amazing view! Great for couples and families. Close to three beautiful sandy beaches, crystal clear water, excellent local restaurants and autochthonous wine. • HOUSE Villa 'Mediteranea' is a traditional Dalmatian stone house (90 m2) with a swimming pool (30 m2), terrace (150 m2) and an outdoor kitchen (15 m2), surrounded by olive trees. Great for couples and families. Close to three beautiful sandy beaches, crystal clear water, excellent local restaurants and autochthonous wine. The house is located on a hill Vela Glavica, right above the sea, away from traffic noise and is only reachable on foot. Personal vehicles can be parked rather close, next to the church Sv.Roko or below the house, near the beach. Short pathway leading to the villa takes you through the traditional Dalmatian street and near the houses in the neighbourhood, many of which come from the 17th century. At the very end of the street is your destination and so is the magnificent view that spreads over the archipelago. According to the impression of many guests and visitors who traveled, not only all over Croatia, but all over the world, this is one of the most breathtaking views they ever experienced. The inside of the house is also embellished by stone walls with thickness between 50 and 70cm which keep the temperature during the hot summer days almost ideal. The location of the house is second to none - the views are absolutely stunning and it’s very private. Unless you have difficulty walking generally (there are some steps/slopes) you can easily walk to supermarkets, beaches and restaurants. We loved Lumbarda - a lovely little town with fabulous sandy beaches with gentle slopes for little children and a good selection of restaurants.

Such a beautiful place - the pool looking over the most amazing coastal scenery. An easy walk to a gorgeous beach,a couple of excellent local restaurants, and a spotless house with everything we needed. Liljana was a very attentive and helpful host. We had a fantastic week - thankyou!

We had a great time with our family + small kid and enjoyed the best view ever. I dont think we ever had a better located house + view on Airbnb so far. It was great.

This is a wonderful house in a wonderful location. The views from the terrace are outstanding. Communication with Ljiljana was really easy, she responded quickly and organised people to meet us at the port and see us into the property. Would definitely return.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nos enfants étaient très heureux aussi! On ne se laisse pas de la vue. La maison est idéalement située, au calme, et à proximité à pied des commerces et des plages. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le "welcome pack" avec la bouteille de vin, les fruits et le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner. un endroit de rêve pour se détendre !

Lumbarda is a small fishermen’s village of around 1200 inhabitants. It is situated at the eastern part of Island of Korcula, about 5 kilometres from Korčula Old Town. The village is built around a small bay and on the hills behind it and is surrounded by large vineyards. To reach the village you can drive a a nice asphalt road passing through a picturesque area of pine woods and olive groves a the coast of the island.
There are several taverns and inns in the village offering traditional dishes, especially fresh grilled fish seasoned with olive oil and accompanied by the local white wines.

HOW TO GET TO LUMBARDA FROM SPLIT?
1) Car ferry SPLIT – VELA LUKA (4 h) and after that follow the road direction KORČULA – LUMBARDA. After app. 42 km you will arrive at crossroads where you should turn RIGHT towards LUMBARDA.
After 4 km you'll come to the center of Lumbarda, follow the main street and very soon you'll see supermarket STUDENAC on the left side and after that the Church St.Roko on the hill. After 150 m turn LEFT (bus station) and drive towards Church.

2) Highway A1, SPLIT – PLOČE, and then on the main road to Komarna - Pelješac bridge. Follow the direction towards OREBIĆ/ferry port ( app 40 km) where you should take car ferry to Korčula/port DOMINČE (15 min).
When you come to Korčula/Dominče port follow the main street, after 2 km turn LEFT towards Lumbarda (the same crossroads as in the previos case).
HOW TO GET TO LUMBARDA FROM DUBROVNIK?
1) The best way to arrive is to take a taxi (or shuttle bus) from Dubrovnik airport to the harbor and then taking the ferry to Korčula. This ferry usually departs around 4pm and arrives to Korčula between 6-6:30pm.
2) Once you're there, once again take a taxi from Korčula to Lumbarda (app 4 km, Vela Glavica, Church St.Roko)
3) Either take a taxi from DU airport to Lumbarda and do the same on your way back.
4) If you want, you can also rent a car in Korčula at any time.
