Scott and Amy’s place was the perfect home base for our trip to Acadia. We did a short trip up north and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. We were within 25 minutes of everything we wanted to do in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Easily got up early enough to see the sunrise on Cadillac mountain, drove the park loop road, and spent time in the cute town of Bar Harbor. Scott was incredibly responsive and helpful and we knew he was right there if we needed him, but the place still felt perfectly private. The bed was comfortable and oh man was that the perfect shower for after a day of hiking! It was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a perfect fall weekend!

Place was beautiful. Super clean. Scott was super nice. Great recommendations for hikes. Off the beaten path but still close enough to Bar Harbor. Easy enjoyable driving around the island. Smells like a Christmas tree farm at the house! We loved it.

If you're looking to get away to a quiet place with hikes all around and the ocean near by, this is the spot. Scott's place is peaceful and close to everything Acadia has to offer. You will enjoy his artwork and the house, it has everything one would need and is extremely clean. Scott was a great host, very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Arthaus. Since we‘ve lived in the area and spent much time here, recommendations weren’t needed. The studio has everything you need, well stocked kitchen and even a backpack to borrow. Bonus points for the washer/dryer (necessity with a long stay) and a salad spinner! Totally appreciated the clean, minimalist decor and the artwork in this well designed and uncluttered space. Liked it so much we’ve booked our next stay.
