We had an amazing vacation in San Ignacio with Iguana Roost as our home base. Peter and Jenny were fantastic hosts. From the planning stages of our vacation to the moment we said good-bye, they were available, cheerful and ready to answer our questions. Our trip flowed smoothly as a result of their offer to arrange airport transfers and tours for us at no extra charge. We loved our accommodations - a little piece of paradise and a great place to watch the many birds and iguanas. Even though there were multiple cabanas on the property, they were situated in a way that offered privacy. Iguana Roost was well-equipped with everything we needed. Having freshly ground coffee beans each morning was a bonus! On a couple of nights, the dogs disrupted our sleep, but the fans helped to not only keep us cool but create some white noise. Ear plugs were provided, which we chose not to use. Overall, we slept well as the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would highly recommend this place!

This place is a gem! The accommodations are clean and well cared for. We felt like we were miles from the hustle and bustle even though we were just on the edge of town. This was all lovely, but what made this stay absolutely magical was the family who welcomed us so very warmly. Peter and Jenny were wonderful hosts. We got to visit the cat kingdom that their daughter, Kaleigh, operates onsite. The passion she has for her mission is impressive to say the least. I cannot wait to return and spend more time with these beautiful people in the stunning place. Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome.

The most memorable and incredible stay!! What an amazing family we felt right at home. This us ghd second time staying with Peter and Jenny. They have the most incredible recommendations! They set up tours for us and everything was so easy! We will stay again!!
