This place is an absolute gem. My husband, 7 year old daughter and I stayed in the family suite for 6 nights. It was absolutely fabulous. The location cannot be beat with walkability to all the best beaches, surfing and even a coffee and smoothie shack at sunset beach. Lots of other great things to do and see are within short driving distance. We took all of our showers outside in their newly added outdoor showers, we made friends from around the world, we hung in the hammock and read in the lounge chairs, we walked to all the nearby beaches… overall we had the absolute best week. One standout thing that makes this place special is Bernie. He is an incredible guy who is FULL of local recommendations and is absolutely wonderful to chat with. We enjoyed him so much. If you’re debating booking this place, don’t question it for another minute. It’s wonderful in every way. We will be back!

Will definitely be back. Beautiful grounds, authentic to north shore, super location, spotless. I like to stay unique places and meet folks- so a shared bathroom was fine. Fully stocked kitchen, perfect location for the beach.

We had a really wonderful stay at Maria and Bernie’s place on the north shore. This is NOT your typical, hands-off Airbnb! The hosts have a deep knowledge about Hawaii and they’re always happy to help with any questions that you might have. Truly a great experience.
