C'est notre troisième séjours chez Helen et tout c'est très bien passé cette fois encore. L'appartement est spacieux, propre, calme, frais et bien situé. Helen est réactive pour communiquer et arrangeante. Je recommande vivement son logement

Where to begin? The host is very very good with communication. Helen is responsive and available whenever I had a question. Which to be fair wasn’t many times, because she’s pretty much documented anything you might possibly think about in a handy book, available on check in. The city of Confolens is one of those charming sleepy little towns in France. It’s got a picture perfect river, with a wonderful bridge to walk/cycle across it. All within a few meters of Helen’s place. The surrounding countryside is gorgeous, it’s not at all unthinkable to hop in your car and drive 50 km to discover this or that little nook. There’s a timelessness to the city and topography. I loved the city for the week I was there and Helen’s place is absolutely the perfect spot from which to explore it. There’s an unbelievable spiral staircase to your apartment with stained glass windows that reflect spellbinding colours in the mornings. The apartment itself is completely stocked and thoughtfully prepared for a family, though so was single. Virtually anything you might need is probably there. Two living rooms, a huge dining room. A lovely corridor leading to your wonderful bedroom. Big Big bathroom.

Helen was an amazing host and her attention to detail was incredible. My stay in Confolens was very special indeed. The accommodation was stunning and there was absolutely everything you could wish to find in the kitchen and bathroom. I’ve never stayed in accommodation which had such a comfortable bed so I slept very well. Helen was always available when needed and even checked everything was ok for me during my visit. There was even some welcoming food and drink for me in the kitchen when I arrived. I would recommend Helen’s place to anyone visiting Confolens. You won’t find anything better!!!
