My family of 5 stayed in Gaillan-en-Médoc for a week in August. It is charming old cottage with the birds farm next door which is some entertainment for kids, however quite noisy in the evenings and early mornings. It is useful to read the house rules carefully, because there are additional payments for bedding, towels and a pet/week on arrival together with a deposit in cash (!). Also, it's good to know there is nothing left for you in the cottage. I mean, no a couple of tea bags, no soap or washing liquid etc. So, be prepared if you arrive on Sunday evening when all the shops are closed at noon))). Otherwise we spent a lovely week in the cottage. Salamon and his wife are welcoming and friendly. Thank you!
