It was an our third time staying at this apartment. The location is great and the apartment is very spacious. Mark is very responsive and helpful.

We truly loved our stay at the Bartholomew Square flat! The location was incredibly beautiful, quiet, and convenient with quick access to tube and bus stops, which made life very easy. We also walked just a short 20 mins to St Pauls Cathedral and crossed to wander the South Bank, with no end of restaurants and quick bites and coffee shops along the way. The space in the flat was incredible and WAS as big as the pictures made it appear. We didn't cook in, but it would've been very easy to do so as there are a number of grocery stores within a 3 mins walk. Mark gave clear and easy instructions, and was very responsive to inquiries. I'd highly recommend him as a host to anyone. Cheers!

The apartment is a good star in central London! Easily reachable via public transport you‘ll feel like you have your very own haven in the big city. Yes, other reviews are correct mentioning that the water pressure in this more than 100 years old building is not like in a newly built hotel, and yes, the warning to only enter the elevator with a mobile phone can give you the creeps, BUT the apartment - or rather loft - is spacious and makes you want to spend some time at home and relax before or after exploring the metropolis of London. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen fully stacked for some (normal scale) cooking, the roof terrace is comfortable with a nice view and some good finches visiting in the morning, and the open floor plan and duplex architecture give you the feeling of a lofty luxury from the early decade of the century. All in all, five stars and a big thanks to Mark for being a great host and communicator.

Het appartement is heerlijk en comfortabel, maar behoeft misschien wel wat onderhoud hier en daar. Het is rustig gelegen en de wijk shoreditch met allerlei fijne restaurants is op loopafstand. Het ligt ook heel dicht bij de tube zo dat je snel overal bent. Mark is een goede host. We konden al vroeg het appartement in en een van de wc’s die defect was werd de dag erna meteen gemaakt.
