I had an incredible stay at Devpur home stay. The place exuded absolute beauty, capturing the essence of a royal Kutch experience.  Moreover, the host's graciousness added an extra layer of charm to the overall stay. It's rare to find such a perfect blend of hospitality and aesthetics. Their warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience feel welcoming.   I wholeheartedly recommend Devpur home stay for anyone seeking more than just accommodation—a place that promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of Kutch's royal charm. My sincere thanks to Mr and Mrs Jadeja for their hospitality.

We had a lovely time at Krurtharthji's. We stayed for about a week from (19th to 26th December). We are delighted to recommend Devpar home stay, if you're looking for a relaxed slow holiday. Apart from the well furnished antique rooms, this home stay also offers tents for accommodation amidst the chirping of birds and whistling of the tress. It was a thrilling experience to live in a tent for a week. The arrangement of bedrooms and washrooms were neat. It was very convenient to sit and unwind with a book or take a stroll. The evenings bonfires were fun with our fellow travelers. The time spent with our host kids (Padmini and Mrityunjay) was memorable. Our host ensured we had timely chais and always kept a wonderful table of lunches and dinners. Special mention to Mishra ji for cooking us ghar ka khaana (simple home cooked meals) and the exciting part was to wait for the surprising dessert (which was usually served at the end of the meal). A note on Krurtharthji's kind gesture: On one of the days when I was down with a stomach ache and Krurtharthji quickly dialed to one of the local doctors and handed over medicines immediately, which was a timely help in need. We felt assured to be taken care of and had a good night's sleep. Krurtharthji's hosting is an example of timely service without any hesitation.

An great place to stay then amazing hosts. An experience to cherish. The tents in the orchards are warm and pristine, but with the hospitality that Krutarthsinh provides is something very special. Have good times in the orchard, laze around in the hammock among the mango trees, listen to the sounds of different birds, enjoy a starlit sky with a bonfire to company.

I traveled solo during Mid August 2018. Right from booking the place, it has been truly great moments all along. Absolutely meticulous & well organised indeed. Krutarthbhai has traveled widely & is well aware of the expectations we have. He, with his helping team is always willing to go an extra mile to make the stay comfortable & memorable. Krutarthbhai can accommodate about 20 + guests at any given time at the Mango Orchard Cottages - Tents & at his old palatial set up. He runs an English medium CBSE school too. Its also best to consult Krutarthbhai for the travel arrangements within Kutchh. He makes sure to get you the best possible deal. The place is also well connected to Bhuj & Nakhatrana by Road. Myself & My Daughter are surely looking forward to another week long visit to this place (sometime during coming December / January) for Birding & painting. The premises itself is home to many birds. We shall be back soon .......

If you're looking for a stay in Kutch, for a night or five, Krutarthsinh's place is the one you want to be at. His is a lovely haveli and adjacent orchards in a small village called Devpar/Devpur, 40km west of Bhuj (about an hour's drive). From the beginning, he was accommodating as I had to change my plans twice during my first visit to Kutch. I stayed for a night in the tent, for I wanted to be closer to nature but in a safe environment (cows, birds around). Krutarthsinh is an avid traveler himself and has insider knowledge of Kutch - both its diverse nature and history. He recommended a couple of places on my way to Bhuj to sample the arts and crafts it has to offer - I had time only for one and I stopped by Shrujan LLDC. I checked in late and was promptly shown by his polite and helpful staff to the tent nestled amongst mango trees with the bathroom outside but has a clean n covered shower/toilet with all modern amenities. The tent had two single cots with mattresses/comforters (and a heater to keep warm). It's a great place to take showers under the sun and stars, listen to nature, take a stroll, or simply unwind on the cot outside reading or napping! The orchard has another tent and built rooms with a common dining area, and in addition to the main dining and rooms (all come with an old-world charm) in the haveli where Krutarthsinh stays with his extended family and runs a school too. We exchanged plenty of travel stories over delicious dinner and breakfast (home-made samosas were addictive!) with him and other Kutch first-timers. The second day was a day of driving around western Kutch, came back to the tent to refresh (although I had checked out) before heading to Bhuj to catch a train out. I also got to glimpse the Indian Republic Day festivities at the school (reminiscent of my school days)! All said and done, I hope to visit Kutch again and stay longer, and now I have a base @ Krutarthsinh's, thanks to the warm, affordable, gracious and insightful stay at his home! :)
