I’m writing this review from the lens of a Los Angeles tourist adventuring to the Baja area for the 1st time knowing neither the language or the geography. I made 6 round trips throughout my reservation from July 1st to September 10th). Getting here is rather easy 25 minute drive on the MX1 hwy once crossing the SanYsido border station. There are 2 tolls ($2 each). Returning to the US is much more time consuming. Take the exit after Puerto Nuevo. Return using the same route. The “BWT” app for iPhone reports the real-time wait times at the Border and gps while you’re in motion. Personally, I would plan my return near midnight to avoid the traffic. Security clearance required to enter the property. The guards aren’t expecting renters so it’s important that they come to see and know you. I bought them quesadillas and that worked! I’m grateful for the tight security. Unfortunately, the language barrier complicated it for me. Facilities are more impressive than pictured. The pools are huge. There were no more than 10 people in the pool the entire time I was there. Workout facilities have all the machines you require. Sauna and jacuzzi. It’s like you have the place all to yourself. There is a bistro on premise but it’s not open often. Two elevators plus a service elevator. Underground parking. Communication with hosts Jeff & Regina was instantaneous. Jeff’s check in was very thorough not missing a single detail. Any issue I reported was resolved within a few minutes. That said, there were few issues I needed to report. Unit 1201 is most impressive (as pictured)! Lots of space. Immaculately clean. Kitchen is provisioned for cooking. Water is purified. Beds, chairs and sofas are very comfy. Pillows are plush. Showers are large. TV’s have DirectTv and HBO or you can stream from your NetFlix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. The slider doors open wide, and the views are stunning. It’s a quiet unit and the area is quiet too. Ideal for relaxing. My AT&T cell signal was typically between 2 and 4 bars in the unit. It’s 0-1 bar down by the pool. DSL wifi in the unit was reasonably reliable for the majority of my stay. I ran 4 laptops, 2 cell phones and my iPad all day without issue. I was able to run MS Teams video for work meetings without lag or interruption. However, there were days when connection was intermittent. I recommend CaliMax grocery in nearby PuertoNuevo with fresh produce, dairy, meats, bakery, liquor, etc. Also “Splash” and a number of other quality restaurants are just 1 mile south from the condo. Sometimes they close early so be wary about going after 8pm. I was a regular. I want to thank Jeff and Regina for hosting me. I am a frequent AirBnB guest and have had my share of experiences. This one is among the best for being EXACTLY as picture and described, and I would highly recommend to anyone. Given the recent news about this area, I also want to add that I did not experience a single safety related issue or concern the entire time I was here, and I found the locals to be friendly, polite and helpful.

Jeff and Regina are amazing hosts! Their home is great and in a gated community with security and incredible amenities! They are very pleasant people and very responsive to messages! We can't wait to stay here again!

There was absolutely nothing to quibble about at this unit - The view was phenomenal, the kitchen extremely well equipped and furnishings were very comfortable. Overall, the unit was very well appointed. Strong internet signal. Water pressure was good and consistent. We are world travelers, and it was one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed! We stayed there to do some writing, and it was perfect for us - the complex was extremely quiet and about 20mins from Rosarito.
