Great place. Quiet and comfortable. You can’t see the ocean but you can hear it. A short walk down the beach to a more swim friendly area. Also, not far from Jobos de Jacinto. Great place for two couples or a small family.

Book this villa now! I wish Villa Tortuga was mine! Love the space,privacy the location. Very neat and cozy indoors. Many amenities to make for a great beach vacation: chairs, umbrella, cooler. You can hear the waves and it is a quick walk (1minute) to the beach. While it may not be easy for swimming it is great for wading, watching the sunset, tide pools and wiggling toes in the sand. Very close to fabulous snorkeling and restaurants. Groceries also nearby. Ivonne is responsive and very helpful. She definitely wants the guests to enjoy themselves. Likely the best rental we have ever encountered. We would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a wonderful find and you should snap it up if you find it available! The other reviews are accurate that the location is perfect and it’s a short walk along the beach or road down to Jobos Beach or other sea and surfing options, but yet it’s quiet by the house. The house is perfect and the owner has thoughtfully provided most of the amenities you will need including beach chairs and umbrellas. It’s a short walk from the backyard over the dune to the beach just behind the house, which is accessible from either the house backyard or a public boardwalk right beside the property. Definitely wear water shoes for the rocks in the water, and the dune is fairly steep here and the water comes right up to it at high tide, so lying on the beach right off the house is mostly a low-tide option - but we liked that because it kept this part of the beach relatively secluded. Great location! Jobos beach is a few minute drive (you can also walk along the beach, it’s less than a mile) and is one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. Beginner surfing, but also a calm bay perfect for children and some simple snorkeling. We even saw turtles! Place is also walkable to a delicious food truck park where we ate multiple times for dinner.
