de blokhut was gezellig en goed ingericht met een bankje op de veranda. Op loopafstand van dorpje met supermarkt en eenvoudige eetgelegenheid. We zijn op het terrein met onze gewone auto naar de rivier gereden. Was een bumpy weg maar is goed gegaan. het was een prachtige plek. verder op hoogste punt met uitzicht rondom een grote schommel. Alfonso heeft ons goed geholpen toen bleek dat we iets waren vergeten. na een paar dagen konden we het ergens op onze route weer oppikken. kortom een hele fijne plek om naartoe te gaan

La cabaña es mucho más linda de lo que se aprecia en las fotografías, tiene todo lo que necesitas para una estadía agradable incluso si deciden cocinar y si no Alfonso les coordina desayuno y recomienda lugares cercanos. La propiedad es bellísima, tiene un columpio en una loma con una vista espectacular, hay varios senderos de diferente dificultad, uno de ellos llega al río Pacuare, hay un mirador y una pequeña Laguna, por otro sendero se llega a una catarata pero para ese no tuvimos tiempo. Alfonso también les ayuda a coordinar actividades como rafting o cabalgata. El lugar es muy apropiado para descansar y respirar un aire distinto al de la ciudad. Alfonso siempre muy amable, atento y pendiente de todos los detalles. Finca Tres Equis altamente recomendada, sin duda volveríamos!

Alfonso's place "Finca Tres Equis" is a gem. It's a beautiful farmhouse in a large farm of 500 hectares or something like that. The Views of the Turrialba volcano from the farmhouse is stunning. It's a very serene place to spend a few days and chill out. I stayed in the place mainly for rafting the Pacquare river and hence did not stay for long. I wished I had spent a couple more days in the farmhouse. As for Alfonso, he is a very nice and down to earth host, very helpful and communicative. We had a good breakfast in the morning for a nominal price. It's a great value for money ! I would definitely stay here again.
