This house has a beautiful lot. It is right by the river stream (rio Sarela), and it has large lot to enjoy the outdoors. Having each bedroom with its own bathroom is definitely a great plus for a big family too. The house was spotless and well taken care of. The host, Juan is super responsive and friendly and keeps great communication. Being that my husband and I are big cooks, we would have loved to have a kitchen with more counter space and better light to prepare things but besides that, the kitchen was well stocked. I would say though, that it would be best to enjoy this house in late spring or summer. Winter in Santiago is rainy, cold and humid, and it doesn't allow you to enjoy the outdoors. Santiago city is not far, you can walk there and reach the Cathedral in about 50 minutes, or you can take the bus that stops almost across the house.

This Airbnb was perfect! The house, which used to be an old mill, was beautiful! Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and there was an additional half bathroom downstairs. If you're traveling like me, with your adult children and their spouses, everyone will feel as the main guest. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I asked for an extra pillow and they were provided not only to me but for every room.There was a spacious and comfortable family/living room and a huge dining table. The house was very clean and had more than enough glasses, plates, and silverware. It even had a barbecue area in the back. The host was the most wonderful person I have ever met in my years of using Airbnb. Each bathroom was supplied with a hair dryer, plenty of toilet paper, and a set of dispensers for shampoo and bath gel. Juan was extremely attentive and helped us with everything we needed. The location is also excellent. There are two nearby supermarkets (within 650mts). El Meson Do Pulpo Is nearby.

Sumamente encantados con el alojamiento. La casa es súper cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para estar como en casa. Las habitaciones y los baños impecables y el parque con su arroyo es indescriptible. La paz del sonido del arroyo te invita a quedarte allí. Juan es un excelente anfitrión que nos hizo sentir que teníamos un amigo en la ciudad con quién contar.

This house is a gem! It's an old mill updated with all modern amenities. The location is ideal, just minutes from Santiago's center but still in the countryside with a stream and sorrounded by ample forests forrests. Juan is a wonderful host, very hospitable and gave us much information about restaurants and sights to see. Highly recommended!
