The cottage is an old traditional building with small rooms, thick walls and little windows. It has a lovely atmosphere if you like the quiet and no modern features. We enjoyed the large garden with our dog, the patio and the coolness of the interior in the heat. The surrounding countryside is great for exploring and hiking. Very relaxing stay, thank you.

My worst airbnb experience so far. The ad is misleading, showing mostly the renovated terrace, and only small parts of the interior, giving the impression that it looks also fine. The rooms were really dark even during the daytime, and there weren't enough lamps. The house had a really strong "old" smell, there were cobwebs and dust at several places. The kitchen was cluttered, there were also stuff left in the fridge. The bathroom is outside the house (same building), which also hasn't been mentioned. The barbecue wasn't clean, it had dried pieces of meat on it and was covered with mold. There was no hot water. The only positive thing I can mention is that the garden and the terrace were nice, with freshly mowed lawn. Overall it was a really negative experience, we wished to spend several days in a calm and nice environment, but we ended up staying only one night and coming home. Not recommended.

Nagyon jol ereztuk magunkat, a haz es a kert kellemes kikapcsolodast biztositott. A kornyeket erdemes bejarni: kirandulasra es furdesre (Kemence, Bank) egyarant remek helyek vannak. Auto szukseges, mert a kozeli faluban van elelmiszerbolt. Ajanlom mindenkinek, aki a varosi nyuzsges utan pihenesre es a termesztere vagyik!

Köszönjük a vendéglátást, nagyon pihentető volt itt lenni. Régies hangulatú házban tölthettük a hetet nyugodt környezetben. Hatalmas szép kert, ahol a fűben feküdve megfeledkezhettem a hétköznapok rohanásáról. Megannyi kirándulást indítottunk a Börzsönybe.

Great house to spend a few relaxing days. The vegetable garden was lovely to have as was the barbeque. There is a swimming pool in the neighbouring village of Kemence which was great to cool off on a hot summer's day! There aren't any shops in the village so food & drink should be bought before arrival. We got off the train at Szob alsó (the stop before Szob) to shop at the market there thinking we could then get a bus from there to Perocsény but we were wrong - the buses only leave from Szob. Despite that mistake, arriving to the village is very easy. From Budapest the train to Szob cost 4€ each and then 1,50€ for the bus (5,50€ in total per person). When we arrived a woman called Livia received us and was absolutely brilliant and helpful during our stay there. All in all highly recommended!!
