This place was spectacular, we had around 14 people and still felt more than comfortable because the house is overly spacious. The houses renovations are amazing! Not a single detail left out throughout the entire house. We loved it!

We had 16 people for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect house. 2 full kitchens, tons of seating, lots to do—it was really about as good as it gets. They have a beautiful outdoors but because of the snow we didn’t get to enjoy it but all the reason to book again down the road! Barbara was very responsive and ensured we had an excellent stay!
I cannot say enough about Legacy House. It is possibly the most thoughtful space I have ever been in. All the details of the home are perfect. One of the best parts about our stay was walking through the home for the first 45min admiring everything. It was a pleasure, hope to return soon. Thank You!
BEAUTIFUL! Pictures don’t do it justice. I had a small backyard wedding and it was such a dream come true! Barbara was so nice and very responsive and made the entire process so easy and simple!

Hi! Im Barbara. I am a wife, a mother of four, a real estate agent & designer. I live in an old school & church built in the 1880's by my ancestors. In 2011, my husband and I along with members of my family carefully restored the school/church and made it into a cottage for guests. We designed & built a large period colonial style home attached to the south of the school/church and that is where I live with my husband and four children. I also love hosting others in my Carriage House and Cabin on the River. I tend to lean on the more reserved host/hostess side. I enjoy meeting our guests, but also respect if they want privacy.
