Aaron was very nice and easy to approach during our stay when he was gardening, helping a friend in the neighborhood or working outside. The apartment was clean, private and quiet. We loved the garden, the old but well maintained furniture and the impressive art largely created by Aaron himself. Parking was safe and easy right in front of the house. To Magazine Street with its cute shops, bars and restaurants it was only a five minute walk, which was great as we liked Garden District way better than (partly a bit stinky and filthy) French Quarter. Some potentially helpful notes: - keep the door and windows closed especially during the night to make sure roaches/bugs don’t make their way into the house, as they are very common in New Orleans - Aaron’s place is vintage, which makes it super cozy, but don’t expect too many modern amenities like a dish washer, walk-in shower, automatic coffee machine etc. It has AC and a smart TV though. We would definitely recommend the apartment!

This is a very charming place to stay with really nice amenities and its situated in a lovely area! Aaron was very friendly and helped me book and get situated with very short notice! I only stayed for one night but easily could stay here for a longer visit.

Aaron was a fantastic host and his place is amazing! I was able to get to the experience of Magazine Street in the New Orleans Garden District/Irish Channel very quickly. Aaron’s super quick response to any question I had was welcomed and appreciated! 5 stars all around!!

We really enjoyed staying at this house! Very New Orleans- inside & out. Cool, old house with tall ceilings. Decorated with a perfect mix of fun pieces. & Love the bathtub!

very enjoyable stay with easy walking access to many places along Magazine and St. Charles Ave
