Birch Haven is a beautiful, private cabin with gorgeous lake views. The waterfront deck above the dock was a fantastic and uncommon feature. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate on our trip, so we were unable to go in the lake, but we hung out on the dock and waterfront deck a bit. The cabin was very clean, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked, which made cooking for a family easier. Our host left us a bottle of wine and stopped by briefly after we checked in to answer any questions. For anyone who isn't used to traveling to remote areas - there is no cell service for most of the time after you turn onto Likely road, and while GPS works, it tells you that you've arrived almost a kilometer before you have truly arrived. Our host provided excellent directions, though, so you should have no trouble finding the cabin. If you turn on wifi calling before you arrive, you will be able to make calls and text, as the cabin does have wifi. Would highly recommend Birch Haven!
Beautiful & relaxing. Great lake and use of the boat was a plus for the kids!!
Very peaceful
Great spot on the lake. Loved the wildlife in the area. We had 2 young deer and their mother playing on the lawn for over a half hour, an otter swam up to the dock when we were sitting on it. House was well stocked.

自我介绍
Our story begins in late 1967, when only a few houses and cabins had been established on the shores of beautiful Horsefly Lake. In fact, most lots on Millar Road were only just being offered for sale for the first time. Our family was one of the first to establish a recreational cabin on this end of the lake and eventually decided to retire here and build a beautiful log home – which we still call home today. We simply love this area and enjoy the lakeside lifestyle year round. When the opportunity presented itself in 2017, we purchased a property that will allow us to share this lifestyle with friends, family and guests alike: Birch Haven.
