We had the most magical days of our winter at the chalet... We are a family of three, our child is 8 yrs old. We ended up using only the master bedroom and the sofas in front of the fireplace to sleep. The fireplace was the most important reason why we chose the chalet in the first place but I have to add the open kitchen and bathroom as next top reasons to stay here, the kitchen because it is super practical and fun to use. Also the bbq meant that we could cook proper meat we bought at the supermarket at Argentière. Talking of which we enrolled our son at the ski school in Argentière since Vallorcine was booked up. Ended up spending a lot of time in and on the slopes of Argentière eventually because of that but have to say that the slopes of Vallorcine are the best slopes in Chamonix area total. Vallorcine is only five mins from the chalet so the location is superb. We travel a lot and I don't often say this, but this is truly a chalet we'd consider staying in again and again...

Très belle semaine dans ce chalet très cosy, décoré avec goût et d’une propreté irréprochable. Literie très confortable. Proximité des différentes stations de ski de la région, ski de fond et ballades en raquettes également. Accès par le petit train très pratique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Wow, what a magical place. We stayed here for a week over Christmas with three adults and two small children and it was perfect. Sebastian at the chalet management has been in touch continuously to arrange our stay and the cabin owner Ludwig was attentive and thoughtful. The cabin itself is perfect, traditional but with all the modern amenities you want. The bathroom is beautiful and we used the log fire everyday. The location of the cabin is beautiful, right next to a ski resort, pub, restaurants and beautiful scenery. We were lucky enough to have loads of snow! Thank you for an amazing stay and Christmas.
