We had an amazing week long family vacation (including small children) staying at Katie’s place. Katie was a wonderful host and the house was everything we could have needed and more. The location cannot be beat, in my opinion the best spot in Minneapolis for walkability to cafes, restaurants, lakes, beach, biking trails, parks, etc. Linden Hills is a charming neighborhood and the location makes easy access to get around Minneapolis by bike or car. Highly recommend all around!
Located very near Lake Harriet Bandshell and Linden Hills shopping and eating area, it is the perfect place to enjoy what the Minneapolis Lakes have to offer. We had the best meal at Naviyas and enjoyed Turtle Bread Company and the great popcorn at Bread and Pickle. We rented bicycles rode the trolley and walked to the beautiful rose garden that was in bloom. We really had fun sitting at the kitchen island and reminiscing about our high school days and catching up. Thank you Katie for the great accommodations!
My cousins, sister, husband, and I really enjoyed staying at Katie and Curt's home. They are gracious hosts and the house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and just a short walk to Lake Harriet. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors we met were all very welcoming. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has a great island with seating, and the den and living room are great gathering places. The deck was beautiful and very nice seating. We highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
This home is in the best location for enjoying the lakes. You can literally walk out the back door, down a path, across the street car tracks and you are at Lake Harriet. The home is very cozy for our family get together.
Katie was lovely and extremely responsive. The location can't be beat, walkable to so much! The house is very cute but probably not the best fit for families of young kids, just a heads up to anyone with toddlers! Would be perfect for a family with older kids though.

自我介绍
I have lived in the Twin Cities area all my life, and have traveled extensively with my husband and co-host, Curt, and our three (now grown) children. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota (B.A. in Spanish and M.A. in Educational Psychology), and worked at a private 4-year university in the Twin Cities from March 2000 through February 2020, when I took a new position at one of the metro area’s finest community colleges. Curt completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Minnesota, where we met as college gymnasts. He has worked in housing design and real estate for several decades. We love everything about housing and hosting! Curt and I started hosting on Airbnb in December 2014, and we are thoroughly enjoying the experience! We have met literally thousands of fascinating people. It has been so satisfying to open our home and share this fabulous Minneapolis Lakes location with others. We are also excited to have ventured into Saint Paul, after completely renovating our gorgeous Craftsman-era spacious Midway home.
