Had an absolutely fantastic stay at John’s place. John was very welcoming and friendly. Place was cozy, tidy and clean. Everything you need throughout your stay was provided and more. Place is close to main food shop and fuel station. Enjoyed the sea view from the garden area. Loved staying there and would like to come back again someday.

A lovely, comfortable small cottage/barn with a view across the bay at Back. John met us on the edge of Stornoway as I think finding his place could have been challenging. Settlements in Lewis are widely spread, names are mainly in Gaelic and use a numbering system differently to much of mainland Britain. Possibly more sense here though. The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and warm. John had a "Welcome Pack" in place.

This place is lovely. Clean, everything provided, tea, coffee, shampoo and beautiful views from the sitting room. Perfect place to stay whilst visiting Outer Hebrides

A wonderful 10 days spent at the Barn which exceeded my expectations all round. Convenient for beach and connecting to other areas of the island. John & Lillian were fantastic friendly hosts and I very much look forward to staying with them again sometime. The ever changing view from the lounge of the headland and sea and clouds made every day feel just a a little different. I loved every minute I was there and the fabulous shower was much appreciated after my long days out doing photography, watching wildlife and visiting other areas of the island.
