This is an amazing location in the mountains on Kyushu. If you want to experience Japan's nature and rural areas, I recommend going here. Chai and Jiro are very welcoming and nice hosts that are always there, if something is needed. I had a great time and met very nice people. Would go there again everytime I'm on Kyushu.

Chai and Jiro have created a beautiful retreat that I can’t wait to return to! It was even better in real life. Beautiful views and surroundings. The one bed room offered solitude and privacy, but the communal areas are still really inviting. So you really can make this trip whatever you want of it. They were wonderful hosts, extremely relaxed and welcoming as well as helpful. Well travelled themselves, it was clear they know exactly what is needed to feel right home and well cared for. The farm is really charming. Really pretty and traditional. It has little quirks that make sure it still feels authentic, but all of the amenities are working perfectly: nice clean warm shower, cozy bedding, loads of space (inside and out) to relax. I was really blown away. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

My stay at Sky tea house was absolutely amazing. Chai and Jiro are so friendly and welcoming. Very good communication and assistance in your travels getting there. Beautiful room and accommodations. The mountains and the surrounding villages in Yame are incredibly beautiful and fun to explore. Incredible curry restaurant just down the hill. The farm itself is picturesque with rolling green mountains and rows of green tea. This could have been my only stop in Japan I would’ve gone back home feeling fulfilled and at peace. Really great time, will highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Japan. Thank you Chai and Jiro!!!
