The charming Val di Sogno (Dream Bay) is where Casa Zanetti is located, just 3 km from Malcesine and 1 km from Cassone.
The free access stony beaches of Val di Sogno are the paradise for both water sports and chill out lovers. It overlooks the Island of Sogno, which can be reached on foot during dry periods.
The lovely lakefront path, with tasty restaurants and cozy locals, links the Bay to both Malcesine and Cassone.
Malcesine "the Pearl of the Lake" is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Garda.
It is a colorful old town with stunning views, and great shopping and dining. Located on the northeastern shore of Italy’s largest lake, the medieval and ancient town of Malcesine is also known as “the olive grove shore”. The downtown sits at the feet of the Monte Baldo mountain range, well known for its popular cable car that takes visitors to the tippy top for the best views over Lake Garda. Malcesine is truly a gem with its net of steep cobbled streets filled with shops, the small port, little picturesque squares, the Scaliger Castle overlooking the lake, typical restaurants, cozy café, glimpses of old buildings, alleys and nature surrounding the town.

And what about of Cassone? Just 4 km south of Malcesine and 1 km from our Casa is the small fisherman hamlet of Cassone, a lovely place that not many tourists know about. Time here seems to have stopped. It is difficult not to be enchanted by the charm of this small lake jewel. Cassone stands out with its gaggle of colourful houses, picture-perfect doll-size harbour, and a tall stone tower that in the past had functioned as a windmill. It is a charming, tranquil place that makes you fall in love with it at a first glance. The most unique thing about Cassone is that right in its historic centre springs the tiny river Aril, the shortest river in the world!
Val di Sogno, Malcesine and Cassone wins the heart of people coming here for the first time and still attracts those who, enchanted by these places, keep coming back.

The romantic lakefront path connects Malcesine with 40 mins and Cassone with 15 mins walking distance.
Bicycle is one of the most choosen alternative for getting around between Malcesine and Cassone.
For relaxing, safe and affordable cycling, the lakeside cycle path is for everyone.
Tourist Bus service runs along connecting the whole Malcesine municipality. The service is seasonal, runs in the mornings and evenings and the nearest bus stop is just 200 m. from our Casa.
Ferries, local public transports and taxis are always available and very good ways to get around Malcesine and Lake Garda.
