Daniele's place is simply amazing. Being smack dab in the historic center of Castelsardo is an incredible experience. There are dozens of restaurants just outside your front door. Yes, there are stairs to climb to get to Daniele's place but no complaints here. We ate so much pasta we welcomed the exercise to work off those calories. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked for making meals at home. As a group of 4 adults we were very comfortable with the living quarters. The standout feature, of course, is that huge terrace. We spent a LOT of time on that terrace, sipping wine and watching the boats out at sea. The only disappointment was the wifi and I addressed this with Lorin directly. The wifi signal is very spotty and with 4 adults trying to look up stuff on the internet it was not happening. Being in the historic center I'm sure there are technological challenges but it is something to be aware of if there are more than 2 people.

We spent nearly a week at this property and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect to walk around the charming historic city, with plenty of restaurants and shops within a minutes walk, and the photos do not do the apartment or it’s views justice - it is wonderfully renovated and the views are stunning. We also found that Castelsardo was such a perfect base for day trips to northeastern and northwestern Sardinia. As other reviews note, given that the apartment is in the historic city center, there is no parking. You should prepare to walk at least 10 minutes to/from a car if you bring one, including hilly walks. Check-in/check-out with Lorin was super easy and the hosts were very responsive throughout our stay. Thanks for the most picturesque Sardinia stay!

5+ stars for the amazing balcony, view, and beautifully renovated clean home. But there were various inconveniences that, especially for the price, I wouldn’t expect. Basics were not provided: no hand soap in the bathrooms, no laundry detergent (the listing had said basics were provided, and it is not a quick trip to go get these things). The Wi-Fi was spotty and didn’t work at all in the bedrooms. When we put groceries in the fridge it never got fully cold even though we put it to the coldest setting. And upon arrival we were told we’d need to pay a tourist tax in cash. As others have noted it is important to know that it’s a real hike to get to the house. When we stayed in august it was not a quiet place in the evenings at all, even with the windows shut you could hear tourists and restaurants quite clearly until around midnight. We put white noise on our phones if we wanted to sleep earlier.

Magnifico appartamento, molto bene rinovato, i letti sono molto confortabili. Mi è piaciuto la calma senza il rumore delle macchine. Si camina molto in questa città , i locali sono molto gentili.

Very modern and beautifull apartment with superb views right in the medieval centre of Castelsardo! You have to be quite fit, because you have to walk a lot of stairs to get to the appartment, but it is definitely worth it.
