The room was an amazing stay and everyone at Innis House made me feel very welcome. The room is as pictured with loads of storage, I had no issues regarding noise during my stay. The guest lounge was spacious and a great place to hang out. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you could dream of and the garden was a lovely place to enjoy meals.

Perfect. cant fault the place. lovely location warm and cozy. friendly and amenable hosts. had access to a whole private living room to relax in. all the mod cons. thanks kristina et al!

Clean, light and warm. Close to Insch. Room not as described/available i.e. 'double room' with private shower. Instead a single room with shared shower room and no television or kitchen access. The hosts were baffled by this, with the husband behaving like I should be grateful for what I was getting. I was offered to change to another unknown location off-site at an extra 65% cost. With that, had I a) had a mobile phone signal b) not had work to compete c) more than 3% battery life in my phone, or d) more spare time; I would just have called Airbnb and changed. But I decided to stay rather than drive around looking for a location that contained both a phone signal and a plug. The room itself was fine for a single (minus the noise from the boiler), as was the shower room. However the husband had already unnerved me, and when I came down to enquire about breakfast, 2 hours after checking-in at about 8pm, the husband's attitude towards me made me feel uncomfortable enough that I spent the rest of my night away from the property. I ate my supper in my car, and enquired at the local hotel if they had space, which they did not. In the morning I was keen to leave, but I had a normal conversation with Kristina, who I assume the majority of the other guests' contact has been with. As I said the accommodation would have been fine despite the inaccurate description/blaming Airbnb/blaming the television company, if not for the real presentiment caused by the husband.
