If you‘re looking for somewhere to relax and get away from it all, this house is perfect. It‘s spacious and comfortable and surrounded by beautifully tended gardens. Sofia and her parents gave us fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, which was a real treat. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. The house is in a small, authentic Greek village full of chickens that roam around the roads! There‘s a taverna in the village square and shops and more restaurants 10 minutes drive away in Moudros. Sofia is a kind and generous host and was always on hand to help out if we needed something or to give tips about the area. We would definitely come back!

Sofia is a great host, very caring and helpful. She gave us all the support we needed and lots of hints about the area. Zenon House is a perfect accommodation for two families. Large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, wonderful space outdoor with a big table for dining and a swimming pool to relax. The house has everything you may need. Moreover there are fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers from the vegetable garden in front of the house. The place is quiet and relaxing. The constant wind makes the house fresh even in very hot days, you simply have to leave doors and windows open. In the village of Kaminia there is a lively taverna (O Andreas), walking distance from the house, where you can have typical Greek meals in a family atmosphere. 5 minutes drive from the house there is Red Rock beach, for both a swim or a drink at the beach bar. Within 15 minutes drive there are some of the best beaches of Limnos (Fanaraki and Chavouli), and Moudros village with little shops, supermarket and tavernas. Limnos is on the whole a fantastic island, with many points of interest, both natural and historical atttactions . Must see are the sand dunes Ammothines, the white salt lake Aliki. The town of Myrina is a lively place , with beautiful walks along the sea and to the Kastro, and with many shops and tavernas.

We had a wonderful time in Sofia’s beautiful house. A fantastic place to spend your vacation on Limnos. Sofia and her parents are very hospitable and give us great local tips; beaches, restaurants etc. Nice pool, fresh vegetables from the garden, a large kitchen and 4 large bedrooms. We will definitely be back!

It was a beautiful stay, traditional greek house with every confort and a beautiful view. Sofia is a great host, it was like staying at your sister house, very welcoming, informal and full of precious suggestions for how to best enjoy the area. Kaminia is a very special place and Sofia’s family very special people!
