We all enjoyed our stay in Joost’s lovely house - it's very relaxing. We were 3 generations, grandma and grandad, daughter & son-in-law and 2 year old grandson. The location was just right for us all - quiet friendly neighbourhood, with shops and cafes walking distance. The many, many children’s toys were very much appreciated and used every day by my grandson. We all used the garden - front and back - most days, they were well set up for the whole family. Joost also kindly offered us use of some bikes which was very generous and helpful (although we weren’t pro enough for the one with the child cart on the front!) Joost was very communicative, and helpful, even when we lost his front door key (we are so sorry again for that and also for missing the rubbish collection). The area was super and we made use of the high street shops, parks and cycle lanes - all great for all of us. Joost’s information and recommendations helped us a lot. We found it a bit unusual not to have a freezer but that’s a British thing, I think, and it wasn’t a problem with shops so close. The house is very child-friendly, although the stairs are very steep/curved, but again we’re told that’s very normal. The area and the people we met in Joosts’s street were all very friendly. We would love to go back!

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house. Joost is a great host and tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He always answered quickly (wasn't there) and gave us many personalized tips for exploring the area. He is very understanding and uncomplicated. The house is well furnished, clean and has a lot of space. The garden offers space for children to play and chill. Also our dog had a lot of fun in the garden. The house is situated in a quiet and pleasant area. Many exciting excursions can be made, whether to the beach, Haarlem, Amsterdam or even the beautiful island Texel. I can highly recommend Joost as host and this house for a holiday stay.

An awesome house in a nice area! We absolutely loved staying at this house. With 4 adults and 5 kids we had a really good time here. It's close to some nice beaches and walking through the dunes was awesome. Thanks for all the tips about the surroundings. They were really helpful and brought us to places we wouldn't have found otherwise. :-)
