João est un designer et un artiste , la maison qu'il propose est à son image .Nous y avons tout aimé. J'ai dit en riant que je pouvais la prendre avec une grue et la transposer près de chez moi pour y habiter 😃 . Tout est pensé pour que vous vous y sentiez bien , les larges ouvertures donnent sur un paysage magnifique, le design est simple mais recherché et de plus la maison est fonctionnelle. Nous avons eu la chance de profiter de la piscine ( elle aussi bien pensée et réalisée) . João est adorable et Rosali est d'une grande gentillesse, elle nous a dépannés avec sa " baguette magique " pour que notre petit fils de 2 ans ne manque de rien , merci infiniment Rosali ! Bref, vous aimerez sans aucun doute ce lieu atypique et leurs propriétaires si sympathiques . Allez visiter Caminha, Ponte de Lima, les rives du Minho , Porto et son musée d'art contemporain , et n'oubliez pas les petits restos de Covas . Enjoy !!! jack et Isabelle

We had a marvellous stay at Joao's place. The accommodation is perfect, exactly what we needed for a 5-day stay with our little 2 year-old daughter. We were warmly welcomed by Joao, who's an extraordinary host. Thanks to him we explored the region that has numerous walks and hikes to offer. And the place itself is a haven of peace and quietness, enabling us to relax under the vine by the pool, looking at the trees, birds and all what Nature has to offer. A gem of a place.

Spacious flat in a very calm environment, pure nature. Small supermarket in 7min driving distance. João lives next door, his terrace is actually attached to the flat’s terrace. Very nice and spacious (but shared) garden. During our stay a dog was there in the garden all the time (not leashed or locked). Great pool, proposed to be private, but has been used by Joao‘s friends too one day during our stay.

Amazing place! House has everything you need and is very cosy in and outside. The owners are super friendly (they might be around from time to time and are very considered, very nice to have a chat/drink with if you want (or not if you dont)). Joao gives woodworking workshops which are really nice! We had a great stay with 3 kids, the swimming pool is great for them , its not very deep (for adults) but very refreshing and the surroundings are very relaxing. you have to travel some winding roads to get anywhere, but most places and activities are within 20-30 minutes reach. lots of hidden waterfalls and litte creaks for the kids to play in and plenty of places to swim in the river.
