I had a very pleasant stay at Marlène's place. The room was very comfortable (especially the bed--it was always very difficult to get out of it in the morning). Even though I barely spoke any French and Marlène doesn't speak English, we managed to communicate when needed, and things went smoothly. Duillier is a nice quiet village and is quite close to the Jura Mountains, so there is plenty of hiking nearby.

Ich wurde von Marlene sehr nett empfangen. Sie nahm sich viel Zeit und stelle sicher, dass ich mich wohl fühlte. Sehr persönlich, freundlich und offen. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin, werde ich gerne wieder bei Marlene wohnen. Alles Gute!

I had initially planned a one-month stay at Marlene's place, but I ended up staying for three months because I felt so comfortable and at home. The apartment is impressively furnished, featuring a private bathroom and an individual entrance in a gorgeous villa, adorned with a spacious, well-tended flower garden. The village is delightful and tranquil, with a bus stop conveniently located just one hundred meters from the apartment. I can't recommend Marlene and her apartment enough.
