Avant d'avoir été très gentiment accueilli par Giorgos et son épouse, nous avons été salués par l'un des animaux qui allait devenir le compagnon de route de ma fille: un chien blanc, comme un doudou. Nous avons découvert ensuite les paons, les poules et leur coq, enfin un chat tout aussi confiant. La maison a tout ce qu'il faut et elle est aménagée avec goût. Nous avons adoré cet endroit aménagé et entretenu avec art et amour dans une nature magnifique, à l'écart des foules et de la civilisation. Très bon restaurant à proximité qui vend aussi de belles poteries, la plage d'Elafonissi est à quelques minutes en voiture.

The stay with Giorgos and Aggeliki was simply wonderful from start to finish. There is a magic in what Giorgos has created there, a harmony between the land and the grounds, between the animals and the people who live there, that can hardly be put into words. Everything flows as if in the most original and natural way. The accommodation is clean and tidy and you really do have everything you need. The animals are a real joy and we have taken them very much to our hearts. Giorgos and Aggeliki fill the place with incredible warmth and friendliness and have been helpful with every question. There is a lovely walk down to the sea, and a minimarket about 15 minutes away by car where there is a good basic selection of groceries. Elafonisi Beach is about 23 minutes away by car and really beautiful. Anyone looking for a truly stunningly beautiful place to stay, with great people, friendly animals and beautiful surroundings, will be happy here.

My family and i are so grateful that Angeliki and Giorgos open their paradise for strangers. Villa Katoi is a wonderful place to calm down and get inspired by the nature, animals and the building itself. I found so many little details i fell in love with, especially the oil for skin irritationes, which Angeliki made on her own. We were even invited to a greek get together, which reflected how heartwarming the people are in this village. Very recommended place <3

Wir waren 6 Tage in der Unterkunft und hätten locker noch länger bleiben können. Das Haus und der Garten sind genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Besonders toll: mittlerweile hat das Haus auch einen Holzofen - gerade im Winter super schön. Die beiden Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen, sie haben uns sogar etwas Essen am ersten Abend vorbei gebracht und wir haben das Rezept für diese leckere Kichererbsensuppe abgestaubt :) Wunderbar, wir würden jederzeit wieder her kommen.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week as a part of our first vacation together and it was even more than the perfect, it was super quiet and peaceful, there were beautiful animals all around, 2 cuddly cats and 2 of the most friendly and best dogs you'll ever meet, Oki and Exer. the dogs went with us on a walk everyday and lead the way throughout the walk and always took us to a new beautiful location like they were a tour guide, they're both super friendly and cuddly and loved getting pets and staying with us inside if we were just relaxing, the area itself doesn't have much to do if you come here during non tourist season but it was still one of my favorites places I've ever visited Giorgio's and his family invited us over for dinner on new years and it felt like being with family The house was beautiful and the garden was even more beautiful and smelled wonderful. If you're going to Crete, go to Villa Katoi, you'll never regret it
