We loved staying here, it is just far away enough to be quiet yet really close to everything. Great tapas bar almost next door. Tavira is not a large village and everything was just a walk away. The pool is an absolute bonus if you are staying in the warmer seasons.

We loved the place itself and the location. Really clean, well laid out, and fantastic pool and outside area. Comfy beds. Easy walk into the main town, but located in a really quiet area. Quite a lot of free parking available nearby. Top tips: -Ti Maria Tapas bar at the end of the road is AMAZING- Fab food and service. -You have to take your own rubbish and recycling to the bins located on several streets. Keep your eye out for them so you know where they are. There are lots of bins for organic kitchen waste, and then banks of bins for the recycling. You have to separate this yourself. We only found one dedicated bin for mixed waste that couldn't be recycled. -The ferry to Tavira Island beaches is really easy and inexpensive, and located on the quay by the river. Beautiful beaches, so definitely worth visit. We loved it and will return if we can.

A very impressive Airbnb. The house itself was great, very spacious and clean. A few issues; Unfortunately, when it came to check in, we were unable to reach anyone by phone (it took over 30 mins and numerous calls). When they did get in touch it was a very slow process to find them/us. We followed the address given but it was incorrect. We had requested a high chair and cot for our 5month old baby. The high chair given had no tray table and two of the legs were damaged and unsafe, we informed the host and this addressed quickly. The cot had no fitted sheet. Again we made contact with the host and this was somewhat resolved. The second sheet given was still not fitted (not elasticated). The communal swimming pool was out of action, we were not informed of this. The pool in the property was unclean. The oven did not work, it kept tripping the fuse board. The lights in the downstairs toilet did not work either. Overall a nice place to stay and I would recommend.

Brilliant stay over Christmas. The property is lovely - contemporary and full of interesting art, home accessories and books. Well equipped with comfortable beds. The property’s location is excellent within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great location, loved the outdoor patio and pool area and the roominess. Very clean with lots of bathrooms. Great restaurants very close by. Couple of things that weren't too great - the master bed was very low to the ground so we switched to the guest room. The mattresses were firm and the linens and pillows were not the nicest. No top sheet, just a comforter. Some of the art work had very bright colors and strange looking subjects. A lot of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were locked up which was a little strange and we could have used more cabinet space for our things.
