Of the many apartments we have stayed in, this has to be at the very top. Wonderful host family, so friendly and welcoming, with excellent communication and responsiveness; they waited to greet us outside the street door. Apartment stands out for being quiet-no door squeaks or rattles-and dark in the bedroom at night. Well equipped-microwave, washer, dishwasher, 2 TVs, etc. Large bathroom with natural light. Note that recycling of waste is widespread in Sardinia; it’s easy here as the family picks up the bags from outside your door. Very good location, just a few minutes walk along the promenade to old town, with grocery store, bars and restaurants nearby. Best location in Alghero for street parking, with no issues or cost. And to repeat, just the nicest hosts. We have already recommended this place to several people. Alghero is a beautiful town, would go back tomorrow.

Un grand et bel appartement extrêmement propre. Très proche du centre historique à pieds. Le seul inconvénient est le bruit des voitures et motos dans la rue assez passante quand les fenêtres sont ouvertes; pas de probléme la nuit car il y a du double vitrage. Hôte très sympathique et réactive.

Paola was an amazing host! She was so warm, friendly, and responsive even before our stay. Her apartment is beautiful, so much interesting decor and we especially loved the bathroom tiles! It’s in a great location, so close to the sea and a beautiful walk into Old Town. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend Paola’s place if you’re in Alghero! Helpful interesting and well stocked kitchen as well.

Paola’s apartment is a perfect base from which you can explore Alghero. A short 5-10 minute walk will have you in the old town. Alghero is beautiful! Paolo was very easy to communicate with and flexible regarding check in times. Thanks for the cold drink in the fridge aswell - a nice little touch!!
