The bathroom had a terrible smell which in summer would be unbearable. We were there for two nights, any longer and the smell would have made us consider moving. Part of the charm is the quaint antiquity of the place, unfortunately it is also a downfall. It is old and in need of a lot of maintenance, it was not particularly clean, not horrendously filthy, just not as clean as one could expect when paying a fee! Great views from the rooftop terrace, a shame there is not more furniture than a small table and chairs to make using the terrace more enjoyable. All round the good outweighed the bad except that I could not stay here again unless the smell is dealt with. The cleaner informed us it has always been a problem that they cannot remedy. The place is very easy to find but not see easy to drive to the first time. A great location but beware the staircase is short, steep and winds. It is almost dangerous, certainly not for anyone infirm and difficult to access with luggage.

Greta location just inside the walls of the old town. Spacious and clean. Easy access. They were very good with quick response and even helped arrange a taxi to Gibraltar upon leaving. Would stay again!

The place is very cozy and the kitchen has got all the utensils you need. Not all essentials are provided (we bought our own oil and tea bags). Beds are really comfy. The terrace is fantastic! Bathroom was clean but it constantly smelled awful. There’s a strong smell coming from the toilet and we had to keep the door shut and the window open all the time. Some days were better than others but overall it was always there. Wifi was strong enough for me and my friend to work remotely for a week. And it reaches the terrace as well :) The host was super nice and responsive :) Would definitely come again.

Nice apartmemt in the heart of Tarifa. Be prepared to fight with moskitos !
