Very nice little place. Beats a hotel. Walkable to everything. Nina was very responsive. Recommend!
Really comfortable apartment with everything I needed. Felt very safe there, too. Fabulous walkable neighborhood. Since I’m elderly I really appreciated an entry with no stairs and tha availability of a first floor apartment. Will definitely stay there again for future visits.
Nina’s place is located in a wonderful neighborhood with plenty of food options all in walking distance. Nina was an extremely accommodating and responsive host. She gave fantastic recommendations that provided for an authentic experience. I would love to book again for future trips.
Wonderful time in a great location
Given the price of hotels in the area, the price here is very fair. I had stayed in another of Nina's listings before, but not this one, although I had seen it before. She describes it as "rustic". I might say "funky". Kitchenette and bathroom are definitely elderly, but totally adequate. It is a very spacious studio with a tiny kitchenette (all we needed to make coffee to go with our croissants from the bakery around the corner and store/serve some snacks and beverages) and compact bathroom. We liked that it had both a king size bed and a large, comfortable sofa that is good for napping on. And a table and chairs. The unit has lots of outlets, but not necessarily where you want them -- if you plan on working while there, you might want to bring an extension cord.

I am not a typical host, I like learning and getting to know my guests on a personal level, before you request to book with me please be comfortable answering the following… I have been hosting for 15 years and felt airbnb becoming transactional and impersonal. In an effort to host from the heart, I take a personal approach to hosting. Even more so when many guests have told me hosts haven’t asked them a questions in 10 years, what a missed opportunity to connect with humanity. To me Airbnb is about community, specifically my community. I hope when visitors stay with me they feel like it’s an extension of their homes. I like to get to know and learn about my guests and about me in return. There is an incredible opportunity for human connection. Do you mind if I ask you some questions? But before I do, I would like you to get to know me. I’m a born and bred New Yorker, who is fascinated by people, naturally I became a behavioral scientist and researcher. More than that I am also a mom to a wonderful 6 year old son. I adore arts and antiques and have a penchant for designing and decorating beautiful inspiring spaces. My goal is to create a warm and cozy environment where guests are intrigued and commune with the decor and experience the space. When they arrive I want them to touch every time and provoke wonder and conversations. If you don’t mind please tell me about yourself? Where are you from originally? Did you grow up in there? Fun to me means being in the moment, experiencing life second by second, despite whatever worries I are occurring around me. Also it’s fun to visit old homes and emerge myself in museums, I love live music and love plays and musicals. My hobbies are real estate prospecting, antiquing and interior decorating.
