Grahams apartment on Lamma Island is a wonderful place to stay in Hongkong, if you don't want to miss nature and calmness in this very exciting and alive city. The rides with the ferry are so cute, the people are very friendly and you get into talk with them very easily. Of course you have to be aware of the schedule of the ferries, especially in the evening. A few times we had been too late to take the last ferry from Aberdeen, so we took the ferry from Central, which runs till about midnight and walked the way from Jung Shoe Wan to Pak Kok in the dark (25min), which is a little exciting, when you are not used to it, but a nice experience. If I'll ever visit HK again, I definitely would chose Grahams Place again.

Wonderful. It would have been tricky to find, but our lovely host met us after our delayed flight got us in late, and took us back to their home. After a day, the ferry was almost second nature and was very easy to navigate. We did run into trouble one day because of a typhoon halting ferry service, but a nice walk to the village got us fed. You do need to head back "home" fairly early if you don't want the 30 minutes walk from the village, but after long days of exploring, that was not at all difficult to do. The space itself left us needing nothing. We had all the comforts of home, and a spectacular view (the rooftop terrace offers a full 360). I really loved being away from the noise of the city, but being close enough to enjoy everything HK has to offer. I would very much recommend, and I would love to stay again next time I'm in HK.

Graham's place is cosy, comfortable and beautiful. I would and already have recommended it to all my friends. It is such a change of pace from staying in HK Island. Graham and the house keeper were very helpful and welcoming. It is a little gem in HK.

It is a safe,comfortable,relaxing and rechargeable place. Woman alone ~GOOD.Very near from a pier and beach.I much enjoyed the ferry, sea wind and water splash! Graham is very sensible host.All thing was perfect for me than I expected~~^^

Staying in Graham's place was awesome. We had a balcony with an ocean view as well as access to a roof terrace. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen- an ideal place for long term stays. The area around the flat is a peaceful village with one little shop. It's a great secluded little place to return to at the end of a hectic day in the city. But do note the ferry schedule! The ferry is a 30 second walk away from the house. Graham was very helpful and welcoming. He made us feel at home when he invited us up to the roof for the best Long Island Iced Teas we'll ever have. He and his family live nearby but made sure we had our own "space". Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a slower and quieter version of Hong Kong. And I would not hesitate to stay again!
