Enjoy the beautiful rural views while being close to town with great restaurants and shops just minutes away. Our unit is perfect for professionals or couples wanting a romantic getaway but is also kid friendly with fun toys, books, treehouse in the forest plus Alpacca's to feed. TV with Netflix but no free channels. Handy location with easy access to airport (35 mins) & Auckland city (45mins) Everything is new clean and modern :-) The unit is a self contained guest wing of our house. It is very private with great views of surrounding countryside. There is one bedroom with a comfy king size bed. The living room has a sofa bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 smaller kids). There is a small kitchenette with a microwave, single cooktop and frying pan as well as tea and coffee making facilities, toaster and fridge. Guests are free to visit a local restaurant, order in takeaways or we can provide full catering if requested in advance.

As advertised, it had a lovely rural vista, and cute alpacas, while being quite convenient to town. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. And our grandkids enjoyed the baskets of toys.

The place was clean and comfortable. The path to the accommodation was overgrown and a little difficult to maneuver for older people (us). It was a trip hazard. The view from our space was beautiful; looking at a vista of rural New Zealand. The sofabed portion of the accommodation had no privacy as the window coverings were sun shades and with the shades drawn the inside of the room was easily seen at night from the outside.

Quiet residential neighbourhood with rural outlook. We have fabulous local restaurants just 5 minute drive from the property as well as great shops with everything you need.
Pukekohe is just a 40 minute drive to Auckland Airport and a great stop on your way travels to Rotorua, Taupo, Coromandel, Tauranga, Waitomo Caves etc.
There are awesome West Coast beaches nearby to enjoy - my favourite is Kariotahi (30 min drive) and there is great surfing in Port Waikato (40 min drive).
Also close to Hampton Downs, Karaka Bloodstock and Pukekohe racetracks.
You would need a car to visit. Public transport is not easy to access and there are not many taxis or Ubers in our area. You can park in the driveway

Hi there :-) We are a laid back friendly family who enjoy hosting guests in the guest wing attached to our house in Pukekohe on the outskirts of Auckland. We built the house in 2017 so everything is new, clean and modern. Our son has a few interesting pets including our Russell the dog, free ranging chickens and 4 Alpacas - he loves taking guests to feed them! I am a Yoga Instructor with a little studio (Soul Tree) in Pukekohe town centre. Guests are welcome to come to group classes in my studio at no charge and I am happy to give private yoga, reiki and meditation sessions for $60 per hour. I also offer a yoga retreat package that includes meals and yoga /meditation or reiki sessions.
