Schöne Wohnung, die auf den Bildern kleiner ausschaut als sie in Wirklichkeit ist. Besonders praktisch war es, dass der Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Overall okay but not great. Obviously for the price you have to have certain expectations but we were still frustrated with certain issues. The location is great and having a Lidl right next door is so convenient. The apartment is nicely decorated but unfortunately the experience of staying there doesn’t match the expectations. A lot of effort has gone into the decoration and style of the apartment but it feels like less effort has been put into the actual comfort and amenities of the apartment. Fine for a weekend but not for a week which is what we had booked. The mattress (old, sagging and the thickness of a mattress topper) was the main reason we left to go home one night early. Uncomfortable mattress and old, lumpy pillows. Just one sheet on the mattress - no protective mattress sheet which is a hygiene issue when you have different guests staying every few nights :/ Many other things contributed to our frustration: no working fire alarm fitted - a major safety issue especially for a top floor apartment (resolved after 36 hours), no bath plug fitted so only showers were possible for half the time we stayed there (plug delivered after several days) and no standard shower head so no bath or decent shower possible. Clogged and dirty dishwasher water jets so dirty dishes to clean upon arrival and everything onwards had to be washed by hand and the kitchen has a sloping roof so you can’t even stand up straight (I’m 172cm in height). You can only stand up straight in front of the hob. Freezer section in fridge is faulty. Dirty washing up brush with hairs tangled in it. Cracked toilet seat and toilet bin that is cheap and lid doesn’t stay on. Air conditioning unit is a stand alone unit that is quite old and takes a long time to cool down the living area - can’t be moved either as the pipe has to go out the hole in the wall so in hot weather the entire apartment is very hot even if you have put down the blinds during the day (no blinds on kitchen or bathroom windows FYI). Not many utensils in the kitchen - take a grater, vegetable peeler, tongs and sharp knives with you. Take a couple of mugs also as the only things available for tea or coffee are small teacups which are lovely but impractical. We were glad we thought ahead and brought an extra hand towel and drying dish towel as we needed those especially as there is no where to dry plates, cutlery etc after they’ve been washed. It was a cute apartment in a great location and we would have enjoyed our stay much more had a few basic things been improved. A new basic IKEA mattress of a standard thickness, a new toilet seat, bath plug and a few basic extra kitchen items would make the apartment a real pleasure to stay in! We hope that Szymon will take our feedback well and that the next guests will have a more enjoyable stay.

Es hat alles super geklappt. Lediglich die Einrichtung könnte teils überholt/ersetz werden.

Das Apartment von Szymon befindet sich im Dachgeschoss eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Es ist sehr groß und bietet viel Platz auch für eine mehrköpfige Familie. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet (Herd, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, usw) aber durch die Dachschräge für sehr große Menschen (ab 1.90 m) ist das Kochen etwas erschwert. Sonst war alles okay. Der Gastgeber ist nett und immer erreichbar.

Location is great to discover the Black Forest, and only a 25-30 min walk to the city centre. A really nice and big apartment. We had a great stay!
