Private apartment in the absolute center of Haarlem. Super easy access to public transport: a direct bus from the airport Schiphol stops around the corner. Amsterdam central is a 15 min train ride away (and a 10 minute walk to the station). However often people prefer Haarlem, since it's less touristic. You're near the center of the city's nightlife and restaurant scene (check our neighbours Uiltje Bar, Bistro Bar Indonesia or The Louisiana), but the apartment is in a more quiet alley. You have the entire apartment for yourself. There’s a double bed in the big room and a single bed in the small room that’s attached. There's a private entrance, bathroom, (small) kitchenette and small extra bedroom. The apartment is at groundlevel a in an alley in Haarlem Center. You'll get a guide with personal tips for Amsterdam and Haarlem. In the house you'll also find: - A Beamer - Bluetooth-box for music - Games and a football table - Nespresso machine (with cups to use) and a milk frother - Small kitchenette, microwave and fridge (no full kitchen) - Fresh towels and bedding - Hairdryer - A (fake) planted greenhouse There's enough space for 3 people. Booking with a 4th person is possible, but the space is small then. The 4th bed can be added in the small or big room (see pictures). We would only recommend it if you want a central location and plan to be outside most of the time, but not for longer stays or if having more space is preferred.

Notre séjour a 3 dans l’appartement de Daniel s’est très bien passé. Il n’est pas très grand, mais cela suffit pour 3. L’accès est flexible grâce à la possibilité de récupérer la clé dans une boîte sécurisée à côté de la porte de l’appartement. Nous n’avons jamais vu Daniel mais il répond rapidement aux messages et ses instructions sont claires. La ville de Haarlem est magnifique. Il est très facile d’accéder à Amsterdam grâce à la Gare qui se trouve à 10/15 minutes du logement à pied (possibilité de prendre un bus pour gagner du temps). Il y a de tout à proximité : bars, restaurants, commerces ainsi que le centre ville de Haarlem. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
wat een top locatie! bus is vlakbij voor het strand, en met de trein ben je zo in Amsterdam! heerlijk! de foto's laten de ruimte wat groter lijken dan daadwerkelijk, maar voor een weekend is dat prima. We hebben extra deken gevraagd, en die kwam echt meteen, heel fijn!
Une adresse centrale super pratique et tranquille malgré la localisation. Bien pour 3. Logement conforme mais pas de quoi se faire à manger. C est le seul petit bémol, il y a une bouilloire et un micro ondes ce qui peut être limité. Mobilier: juste ce qu il faut pour vadrouiller en journée et rentrer dormir. Daniel a fourni des infos pratiques et à été super réactif. Je conseille la tranquillité d Haarlem après des journées sur Amsterdam! Et nous avons pu rayonner autour grâce aux trains et bus.
Daniel’s apartment is in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk to the centre of old town, close to the bus stop, and almost next door to two lovely breweries, including the Jopen Brewery. However, because it’s tucked down a little alleyway, it’s also extremely quiet. The sleeping arrangement was perfect for us and our 12 year old son (one double and one single bed). The host left coffee pods which was most appreciated, along with basic toiletries. The overall apartment was clean and tidy, but the bathroom could do with a good scrub. Overall, for the price and location, I would stay there again if in Haarlem.

In the city center of Haarlem, with a lot of nice restaurants and bars in the Zijlstraat (next to the house). The central station and Teylers museum are within a 10 minute walking distance. In the street you also find a big grocery store and a bicycle rental.
From the airport: Bus 300 from Schiphol goes straight to the house (takes 35 min). A ticket is 4,19 P.P. You step out at Centrum/Verwulft and from there it's a 2 min walk to the house.
To Amsterdam Central: you first walk to Haarlem Station (10 min walk) and take a train there (goes every 10 min, trainride takes 15 min). The train ticket is 4,30 P.P.
Parking: the house doesn't have a private parking place. The city center is paid parking. It is possible however to park outside that area (for example at Schipholpoort) and walk for 15 min or take a bus for 3 stops.
