We spent a lovely couple of days in Carol's amazing place just outside Perugia. The space is just perfect, very comfy and with lovely touches such as fresh flowers cut from her beautiful garden, and a welcome glass of wine with homemade focaccia. Carol recommended a number of nearby restaurants for us to dine at during our stay. We tried two and both were exceptional, especially Borgamela. Breakfast is a complete delight, Looking at the beautiful view. which was even charming in the rain. Again Carol went above and beyond to make our experience special, picking fresh fruit from her garden, offering an amazing selection of homemade jams and pastries, including her mother in laws jam tart which was incredible (we went home with the recipe). The table is set with Carol's beautifully designed ceramics, along with more flowers to dress the table. Carol was so generous sharing her knowledge of the area and recommended places for us to visit nearby all of which we really loved. Thanks Carol!

"So Special" If you need somewhere to stay that ticks all the boxes and rates as 6 stars this is it. It is so peaceful up in the hills but not too far removed from all the sites. The accommodation is homely and pristine and having the pool was an added bonus. The breakfasts were to die for with many homemade goodies and with Carol's own painted chinaware adding to the occasion. As for Carol the host, she went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing time and was always on hand to advise on places to visit and restaurants to dine at. What an amazing person who gave 100%. Would we return...without a shadow of a doubt.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Carol is by far the best and most thoughtful airbnb host I’ve ever had (and we’ve been fortunate to stay in many wonderful airbnbs.) She goes out of her way with incredible and thorough recommendations and genuinely wants you to love Umbria and Italy. She creates the most gorgeous (and tasty!) breakfast spreads every morning like something out of a fairy tale. Her aesthetic taste is impeccable and everything about the apartment is gorgeous and high-quality. Her handmade pottery is a beautiful touch and the smell of fresh lavender wafts through the air. This is truly a peaceful oasis and was an absolute joy to stay here for part of our honeymoon.

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb. The views and the apartment itself are beautiful, with a lot of attention to detail. Carol was a very caring host, giving us great recommendations for restaurants and drinks. Carol also showed us her ceramic works, which is truly stunning. Breakfast was served on the beautiful veranda outside Carol’s kitchen and was a treat every morning, with fresh fruits from the garden and home made bread. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time with Carol and her family. The accommodation is beautifully designed and perfectly located. The view from the pool is unique, the location ideal for trips to Assisi or Perugia. Carol is a great and inspiring hostess who takes very good care of her guests' well-being and gives great tips for exploring and restaurants in addition to a fantastic breakfast.
