We stayed here for almost a week and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is removed from a lot of the hustle and bustle of some of the more active parts of the island while still remaining within a very short drive (less than 15 min) of some of the most fantastic beaches on the island. The walk to Friars bay and Happy bay, while not far, weren't something we did more than once with small children so if you are looking for easy access to a beach this is maybe not the perfect location for you. We had more interest in exploring more of the island and so it's location ended up being perfect. It's close but not particularly walkable to a lot of very good restaurants. The house itself was amazing. Well furnished and laid out. The pool was great for taking a quick dip throughout the day. All in all we would highly recommend the house!

Our family had a nice stay here, we stayed 28 nights and it quickly felt like home. The house is laid out well with the kitchen living and dining area flowing nicely to the pool. We liked the area and felt safe there. Kitchen was stocked with most things you need and the washer and dryer off the kitchen is a good touch. All-in-all everything was great; couple things we noted were: - no wifi in the upstairs of the house where the dedicated workspace was located - there’s a paintball field across the street and a few balls came over and hit the house but they usually only played Sunday morning so we just were cautious where the kids were then. - There were only sheets on the beds and no blankets which gets cold when the AC is running. - Be prepared for battle with the mosquitos. We found a plug in 3-pack at the superU that lasts 45 days and it made a huge difference along with the bug spray we brought. Great island, fantastic food scene, wonderful beaches and enjoyed our stay.

Wat een heerlijk huis met mooie ruime tuin met veel groen en privacy. Uitzicht op groene bergen met steeds wisselende gezichten. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, grote keuken incl grote koelvries combinatie, oven, vaatwasser, wasmachine en wasdroger. Buiten een fijne barbecue, een fijn windscherm als het een avond wat harder waaide. Het enige verbeterpunt dat ik zou kunnen verzinnen is het plaatsen van een hor in de badkamer of een klamboe om het bed. Ik ben zelf een magneet voor muggen, dus werd in de badkamer ‘s morgens of ‘s avonds gelijk aangevallen door een aantal actieve muggen. Op loopafstand (700 meter ongeveer) 2 stranden: Friars bay en Happy bay. Daarnaast kun je heel erg lekker eten in Grand Case in één van de vele restaurants, waar we ook regelmatig naartoe liepen. 15-20 minuten lopen, 5 minuten met de auto. Kortom, een fijne plek voor een hele fijne vakantie op St. Martin.

Lydia is a great host. good communication and clear directions. the home is as described and all worked as intended. lost power one day and was back on within minutes. no problem! I would stay here again next visit to beautiful St Martin! perfect for our family of 5.
