Place was perfect for a girls night in playing games and hanging out. Close enough to town to go get food and bring back. Alexandra was always quick to respond too.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Came for a wedding that was close by and enjoyed a wonderful night around one of the two fire pits. Wish we had more time in the morning to explore more of the property. Our dog really enjoyed the expansive forest. Alexandra was amazing and super communicative with anything we could have needed. Can’t wait to come back!

She describes her home as rustic. However, rustic should not mean bathtubs that barely drain, pots and pans and cooking utensils so disgusting you wouldn't use them, light switches that don't work, flickering lights, no battery in her smoke detector and pet hair every where. It was not clean and it was poorly maintained. In her listing she will admit you will see bugs in her home because it is in the woods. We did see bugs,...... several. But we agreed to those terms and booked anyway. What she was NOT upfront about was the animals living in her walls and ceiling. Instead she left a note saying " please use the sound machine to help from hearing the pitter patter of their feet." We did complete our 3 day stay only because we had traveled from two different states to share Thanksgiving as a family. We decided to purchase the battery for her smoke detector, get paper plates and cups, and a pot and pan to try and make the best of it. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

Alexandra is a great host!! Very responsive and flexible! The cabin was so sweet and cozy.. perfect peaceful get away!! We will be back!

We enjoyed our getaway so much and would definitely go back. we stayed for my son to visit IU, and it was the perfect location, not too far from campus to drive and explore, but got us away from the busy college town for some relaxation. as a bonus we were able to bring our fur baby.
