Nice spacious appartment, albeit a bit dated, in a good location and very convenient for Whitby town. Could really do with Broadband/WiFi. Watch out for the stairs which are very easy to slip on (use the lights!).

Another stay at The Sanctuary and another perfect weekend. I can't praise this place highly enough, I can only say that 1,000% we'll be back very soon! x

Lovely place, we had everything we needed during our stay. Great location with views of the sea. Only one small downside was the creaky bed frame, it made a lot of noise with little movement. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would stay again.

We absolutely loved this flat! Could be the best we’ve stayed in, in beloved Whitby and we’ve been in a lot! The living room and bedroom are spacious, light and comfortable and it’s very well appointed. Everything is spotless and tasteful. It was great to wake to the sea view from the bedroom and the historic church across from the front is delightful. This accommodation is so well placed for events on the sea front and Spa, but also is a very short walk into town for all the shops, pubs and eateries Whitby has to offer. There is an added bonus if you have an electric vehicle as chargers are conveniently placed in the nearby car park.
