自我介绍

Hi! I am the 6th generation of my family to live and work on Mataia Farm. As well as looking after Mataia Homestead my husband Shane and I also farm the surrounding land. We live just up the road in another house on the farm with our two young children. In between looking after the house, helping Shane on the farm and providing a taxi service for my children, I love to spend time working in the extensive gardens that surround the homestead and cooking with some of the amazing fresh produce that comes out of those gardens! We have a pretty hands-off approach to hosting as we beleive that the beauty of staying at Mataia is getting to experience the peace and quiet of the surroundings in the knowledge that you have the whole place just for you! We will try to pop in at some stage during your stay to say hi, or you may bump into one of us working in the gardens or out on the farm if you choose to do one of the variety of walks that explore the surrounding land. However if you need anything or just want to say hi then we are only ever a phone call and a 2 minute drive away!
