We really enjoyed our stay with Arturo and his wife. We received a very warm welcome and tour of their house. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had a nice breeze with the windows open. The kids enjoyed playing in the lake. The property was beautiful.  They were very easy to talk to. Elisa gave us a recommendation and even made us a reservation for a restaurant because we don’t speak Italian.  They set up a nice table for breakfast with strong, hot coffee. Elisa even made us ice cubes with bottled water! They were very accommodating, even to helping with a tire with a low pressure indication.  They are a wonderful couple with amazing hearts. I highly recommend staying with them. We would return to stay with them again if given the opportunity.

Great experience! Arturo's hospitality is unparallel, and his house is amazing. Great garden and a spectacular view. Ideal for a few days of pure relax.

Arturo's B&B on Lago di Vico is warm homey and a relaxing spot to enjoy Italian farm life. Arturo himself is charming, without pretense, enthusiastic (he is originally from Naples ) . His wife who teaches English is attentive and quietly present catering to breakfast, food and drink. Their two large adult Maremma dogs are sweet and yet protective of guests just the way the local breed instinctually guards and watches flocks of sheep. We arrived in September when there were 6 new fuzzy white puppies to play with. Their Mom & Dad, Georgia and Smit guided us through the hazelnut orchard as the ground was so covered in Noccioli waiting to be gathered that we had to be careful not to slip on them. The dogs played in the lake (yes, these Maremmas swim!) while we sat an enjoyed the cooling lake breeze and serene view. The house has orchard and lake views from almost every window, and the property covered in greenery, flowers and trees. The entry is through a canopy so thick our Fiat Ducato forgone camper barely fit under the intertwined branches. Breakfast was ample and the LaVazza coffee fresh and strong, just the way we like it. Our hostess even gave us lessons on using a classic stovetop espresso brewer. Arturo called the Riva Felice Restaurant on the lake and they graciously stayed open a bit later in the afternoon so we could enjoy an amazing white lasagna with zucchini flowers and a bistecca alle brace that was so big we had to take half it home for lunch the next day! Arturo showed us his collection of Italian wines when he found out we grew Pinot Noir in California. We loved our time and ABB apartment in Rome but Window on the Lake B&B was the perfect contrast between city and rural life in Lazio ! My only wish is that they had some stand up paddle boards or functional kayaks to paddle on the lake since the property has a small private beach area. But there are public beaches nearby that do! Mille Grazie Finestre sul Lago !

Location meravigliosa, un luogo unico , dove poter trascorrere un soggiorno a contatto con la natura e conoscere il fascino del lago. Arturo e sua moglie degli ottimi padroni di casa. Da sottolineare la colazione , con dolci delicati e gustosi, preparati da Elisa. Da ritornarci al piu' presto.
